Vintage Lookbook Spotlight #5 - Rebel Vintage

It’s time for another series of Vintage Lookbook Spotlight! I love introducing you to new thrift stores and second hand shops in the city (be sure to check out my ultimate thrift store guide for more inspo). This month I’m going to be focusing on one of my absolute favorite spots - Rebel Vintage! This shop is located in SoBro next to Gallery Pastry Shop and has an amazing selection of really high quality vintage items and home decor. I love going here to treat myself or find things I have been looking for for a while, and I can’t wait to share these pieces with you!

Look #1 - Graphic Tee

If you know me, you know PBR is my favorite cheap beer, I know it’s bad but it’s affordable okay! I have always seen graphic tees from Budweiser but have been on the hunt for my personal favorite brew and when my friend stumbled upon this shirt at Rebel Vintage, she screamed for me across the store. I was so excited to finally have my hands on this gem, it makes any outfit a little more grungy and tomboyish, and is perfect for throwing under a jacket. Rebel Vintage has a large selection of graphic tees to choose from and you may come away with a gem.

Look #2 - Bleach Dyed Sweater

I know that during quarantine, tie dye everything was in! I found this amazing sweater that was perfectly bleach dyed at Rebel Vintage. I know that the shop carries different vintage vendors, and one of my favorites is Mama Ochre who is known for her perfectly executed milk paint designs on t-shirts, loungewear, and more. This sweater is so unique and I love that no other piece like it exists out there, which is also the beauty of buying vintage in general.

Look #3 - Basic Blogger Hat

You know the hat - every blogger has it - and it’s usually from a brand called Lack of Color for over $100. I have always wanted one of these cute cream hats but never wanted to pay that much money for it, so when I saw Rebel Vintage post about this hat I knew I had to jump and get it. One of the best things Rebel Vintage does is post story sales on IG and also let you know on stories when new arrivals will be in, letting you get a sneak peek at some of the items they’re bringing in.
